The Community School had hoped to begin our regular evening programs and after school programs for students once schools were available again for Community Use after October 20th. However, we have been informed by the Board of Education that as from the beginning of this school year, custodians must be present for all events in School District facilities outside regular school hours. Custodial charges of $30 per hour will be charged and minimum call-out hours may apply.
These custodial charges, in addition to the fees we pay the School District for rentals and our liability insurance premiums, make it financially impossible for us to continue offering these programs. We are very disappointed that all these activities will have to be cancelled until further notice.
